Wireless
Keith and Susan Ebel founded Proximity Wireless, Inc., a
Lenexa, Kansas based company, April 1, 2002.
Proximity provides
turnkey wireless solutions for a wide variety of
indoor and outdoor environments including small to
medium businesses through large enterprises,
government as well as SOHO environments
nation-wide.
Proximity Wireless opened to service a $5
billion growth industry in the
in-building/enterprise wireless
and SOHO market. Proximity is a technology,
engineering, systems and services company providing
turnkey solutions for personal, local, wide and
metro area wireless voice and data networks.
Proximity has been on track for 1200% growth
since 2003 and grew 700% in 2004 alone. Proximity
Wireless has now been selected as
the contract system integrator for Sprint, Nextel
and Verizon .
Keith is a business development and engineering
professional with over 23 years of experience in the RF/microwave wireless industry. He has presented before
the Independent Computer Consultants Association in
Kansas City, Missouri; several Sprint panels in
Overland Park, Kansas; the 2004 iTEC Convention in
Overland Park, Kansas; the 2004 Wireless World
Conference in Kansas City, Missouri; and the IEEE
Microwave Theory & Techniques Society in Boston,
Massachusetts.
Susan’s background consists of several years of
sales and supervisory experience, as well as
previously owning her own business. In June 2005,
Hot Talk 1510 AM featured Susan with Keith in its
“Eye on Small Business” radio program.
Proximity Wireless is recognized by its
stability and growth. Kansas City Small Business
Monthly nominated Proximity for 25
Under 25 Small Businesses and also featured Proximity in its June 2004
publication. After just three years in
business, the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce
nominated Proximity Wireless as a candidate
for Small Business of the Year for 2005 and they
were again nominated for 2006.

design and deployment attributing its success to
