DAS: Distributed Antenna Systems for In-Building, Campus or
Enterprise coverage. Solutions for cellular, PCS, ESMR
(Push-to-Talk) phones, data cards, paging, public safety,
GPS, XM radio.
Government Space: Areas such as local, state, or federal
government buildings, city or county areas, military or
Homeland Security installations.
O&M: Operation and Maintenance - The Proximity Wireless NOC

configuration, control, maintenance, and fault monitoring.
These services are available through yearly service
contracts.
Private Space: Areas such as hospitals, private entity /
corporate buildings or campuses.
Public Space: Areas such as airports, shopping malls,
convention centers, sports arenas or hotels.
SOHO: Small Office/Home Office.
TMB: Tower Mounted Booster - for PCS1900 CDMA Networks.
Unit houses one high linearity High Power Amplifier (HPA)
for transmit (Tx) and two Low Noise Amplifiers (LNA) for
diversity receive. Extends the range of rural, highway, and
suburban Base Transceiver Sites (BTS) from 3-4 miles to 9-12
miles. Immediate ROI and is compatible with E911. Complete
alarming and hot-swappable.
WISP: Wireless Internet Service Providers for City or
County coverage.
WLAN: Local Area Networks in and around buildings including
campus areas. Data rates up to 54 Megabit / Sec.
WMAN: Wireless
Metropolitan Area Network: A regional wireless
computer or communication network spanning the area
covered by an average to large city.
Mobile WMAN:
Wireless Metropolitan Area Network on a moving
platform; i.e. the ability to access a regional
wireless computer or communication network from a
moving vehicle, optimum for public safety and first
responders.
WPAN: Personal Area Networks for Kiosks or small office /
area networks where devices will be within ~30 feet of each
other. Data Rates up to 1MegaBit / Sec.
WPBX: Wireless Public
Branch Exchange
WWAN: Wide Area Networks bridging Point-to-Point or
Point-to-Multipoint such as connecting buildings together
over larger distances. Data rates to 100 Megabit / Sec.
