of In-Building Wireless"
Article from Washington Post:
This article is about
spectrum being sold by the FCC to companies wanting
to provide new wireless services. This is known as
the Advanced Wireless Services Auction with
frequencies in the 1710MHz range. These will be for
fixed and mobile services such as voice, video and
data. There will be more demand for in-building
wireless solutions because these 3G+ type services
will be running at higher frequencies than the
current PCS 1900 services. The bottom line is the
world is going wireless, completely wireless.
Nothing against wire but the trends are clear, the
drumbeat is loud...cut the wires!
